Covington Fire Department Visits Holy Family School; Promotes Fire Prevention Month Safety Initiatives

COVINGTON, KY -- As a part of Fire Prevention Month, the Covington Fire Department crews from Pumper 6 and Rescue 1, and retired Lieutenant Tom Brinkman visited Holy Family School.  The Fire Department spoke with students about fire safety, becoming a firefighter, not being scared of firefighters, and reminding them to call 911 for help.

Covington Fire Department Welcomes Holy Cross Elementary School Students to Fire Station

Earlier this week, the Covington Fire Department welcomed Holy Cross Elementary School preschool students to the Company 8 Fire Station! While at the station, firefighters spoke with the preschoolers about fire safety. Additionally, they showed the students fire safety gear and reminded them that firefighters aren't someone to be scared of.
