Coming Soon... Changes to Your Residential Waste & Recycling Billing

Attn: Residential Property Owners

There will be some upcoming changes to your ‘Residential Waste & Recycling Billing Services.’ Beginning in 2018 the City of Covington will once again be directly billing residential property owners for waste and recycling services. This means, residential property owners will no longer receive quarterly bills from Rumpke.

Instead, residential property owners will be billed annually for solid waste and recycling services. Residential waste and recycling bills will be issued by the City’s Finance Department in March 2018.

Please Note* If you are currently signed up for auto debit With Rumpke, you will need to cancel these automatic payments effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Additional billing questions can be directed to the City’s Finance Department, 859.292.2180. Questions regarding your trash and recycling services can be direct to the City’s Solid Waste Coordinator, Sheila Fields, at 859.292.2121.

Residents must place their recycling carts at the curb by 7 a.m. for pickup and adhere to recycling guidelines detailed on the lid of their recycling cart. Guidelines can also be found by clicking here.
