Hermes & Watkins (Green on the map): The majority of Duke Energy's gas work south of W. 12th Street on Hermes Ave has been completed. A small number of residences remain outstanding due to access issues that prevented service work from being completed. Additionally, a small amount of pavement restoration is outstanding.

Pike Street (Orange on the map): Duke says its current target is to complete all gas preparation work by mid-October. The exact date remains tentative, as a significant amount of utility relocation work is still required and ongoing field conditions continue to present challenges for excavation work.

W. 12th Street & MLK (Purple): In early October, Duke will begin conversion work in this area.

Following the installation of new gas lines, Duke anticipates approximately two additional weeks of restoration activities, including cleanup efforts and the removal of legacy gas infrastructure and boxes.
