COVINGTON, Ky. — Covington Parks & Recreation will host a free Historical Walking Series event on Saturday, Sept. 12, inviting residents and visitors to explore the history, architecture, and stories of the City’s oldest neighborhood.
The walking tour will begin at 10:30 a.m. in front of Covington City Hall, 20 W. Pike St. Participants will then set out on a walking tour covering approximately 1.5 to 2 miles through the Historic Licking Riverside Neighborhood.
The tour will highlight the neighborhood’s rich history and distinctive architecture while sharing stories that help bring Covington’s past to life.
The event is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
