COVINGTON, Ky. — Following the severe weather on Aug. 11, residents with remaining storm-related debris should place it in or next to their trash cart for regular pickup, or drop it off at Rumpke’s Covington Transfer Station.
The City’s Public Works crews are no longer making individual stops to pick up debris from sidewalks after residents call to request a pickup.
For yard waste, residents can place up to three bags of yard debris or three bundles in addition to their regular trash carts for pickup each week. Loose shrubbery, sticks, and lumber must be tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet, no wider than 2 feet, and no heavier than 50 pounds.
Covington residents can receive one free drop-off voucher per month. To request your voucher, please complete the Covington Transfer Station Drop-Off Voucher Request form.
Thank you to our residents and Public Works crews for their continued efforts as we clean up from the storm.
