Cincinnati favorite restaurant relocates to Northern Kentucky riverfront at 10 a.m. on July 11
COVINGTON, Ky. – Commercial real estate developer Corporex has announced that Cincinnati breakfast and brunch favorite, 6 ‘N The Mornin’, will officially open in Covington in Northern Kentucky at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11.
The restaurant is relocating its flagship operations from Madison Avenue in East Walnut Hills to a highly visible, expanded, 3716 square-foot space located at 50 E. Rivercenter Blvd. at the base of the Embassy Suites on the riverfront.
“The Covington business district has evolved into a premier hub for commerce, business, tourism, residential, and dining," said Bert Hehman, Director of Sales & Leasing at Corporex. "The team at 6 ‘N The Mornin’ built an incredible, passionate following in Cincinnati, but ultimately needed a larger, state-of-the-art kitchen space to scale their operations and meet customer demand. RiverCenter offers them the perfect combination of footprint expansion and unmatched visibility to capture the booming Northern Kentucky market.”
"Our vision for this next chapter has always been to find a space where our kitchen can keep pace with our community’s appetite," said Trey Graham, 6 ‘N The Mornin’ Owner. "Bringing our Southern-inspired meals to RiverCenter perfectly aligns with our goal to expand our footprint, and we can’t wait to inject fresh energy into the Northern Kentucky riverfront starting July 11."
As part of this transition, 6 ‘N The Mornin’ has restructured its leadership team to concentrate on optimizing operations and delivering exceptional customer service.
6 ‘N The Mornin’ demonstrates its commitment to Northern Kentucky through proactive community engagement. By employing over 40 local individuals, the organization contributes significantly to the regional workforce. Moreover, 6 ‘N The Mornin’ operates a nonprofit entity, “ABC”, Always Better Collectively, focused on delivering vital services including food provision for the homeless, leadership development and educational workshops as well as mentorship opportunities. Finally, the growth strategy entails expanding 6 ‘N The Mornin’ to Las Vegas and Phoenix in 2027, while also establishing franchise opportunities globally for entrepreneurs in the years to come.
The addition of 6 ‘N The Mornin’ represents a strategic continuation of Corporex's master-planned activation of the Covington waterfront. Situated directly on the Ohio River, the RiverCenter retail space offers the restaurant seamless proximity to major corporate offices, as well as a direct connection to local hotels and Northern Kentucky Convention Center foot traffic. The transaction was facilitated with tenant representation from 3CRE Advisors’ Gabriela Costantini and Rachel L. Thompson, with Molly Hoffman representing Corporex.
Known for putting a unique spin on traditional Southern favorites, inspired by flavors originating in Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida, while aspiring to be a home away from home for every guest, Graham has built a passionate following across the Tri-State area. The relocation to RiverCenter allows the concept to scale its daily footprint and introduce its signature menu to the Northern Kentucky market. Guests can anticipate an extensive selection of menu items, featuring innovative dishes such as shrimp ‘n grits, lobster and crabcakes, as well as a happy hour menu featuring items such as sliders and wings. Happy Hour is offered from 5-8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The grand opening will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11. Patrons can look forward to a robust menu and a full lineup of the brand's popular Southern dishes. Hours of operation are 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 7 a.m.–midnight Thursday through Saturday.
