Court Issues Injunction Against Twin Rails; City of Covington Activates Plan to Support Impacted Residents

COVINGTON, KY — The Kenton County Circuit Court issued a Temporary Injunction against Twin Rails Sober Living at the request of the City of Covington due to its failure to meet state and local standards required of recovery residences. Despite being provided time by the Court to become fully compliant with all applicable state statutes and city ordinances, Twin Rails has failed to resolve the deficiencies and will have to cease operations at its property located at 1629 Madison Avenue.

The City has developed a plan to assist current residents as they transition to properly licensed recovery residences within Covington, to ensure continuity of care and access to support services.

If you are a resident in need of assistance, please contact the City's Neighborhood Services Department at (859)-292-2323 to learn more about transitional assistance.
