COVINGTON, KY — The City of Covington is encouraging residents and historic homeowners across the region to attend the 2026 NKY Restoration Weekend, a one-day educational event dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich architectural and cultural heritage of Northern Kentucky.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Newport Intermediate School, 95 W. 9th Street in Newport, KY. A free lunch and vendor fair will begin at 11:30 a.m.
NKY Restoration is a collaborative group of historic preservation enthusiasts, including business representatives, nonprofit organizations, and local historic preservation offices throughout Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati region. Together, they work to provide resources, education, and inspiration for those passionate about maintaining and restoring historic properties.
