City of Covington Invites Families to Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Devou Park

COVINGTON, KY — The City of Covington is inviting families to celebrate spring at its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Volpenhein Shelter in Devou Park. 

This fun-filled community celebration is open to children 12 and under and offers a festive afternoon of activities for the whole family. Kids will have the chance to participate in the traditional Easter egg hunt while enjoying a variety of classic games and springtime fun. 

In addition to the egg hunt, families can look forward to: 

  • Photos with the Easter Bunny 

  • Free food for attendees 

  • Interactive games and activities 

  • Petting zoo 

  • Vendor booths hosted by local organizations and community groups 

Egg Hunt Schedule 

  • Ages 0–3: 12:00 p.m. 

  • Ages 4–7: 12:15 p.m. 

  • Ages 8–12: 12:30 p.m. 

Games and additional activities will follow. 

The annual event, which is free and open to the public, is designed to bring Covington families together while celebrating the arrival of spring in one of the city’s most beloved parks.
