Covington City Hall will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, in observance of Thanksgiving and Black Friday. City Hall will reopen on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, for normal business operations. 

As the community gathers and enjoys the long weekend, the City also encourages residents and visitors to take part in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29. Covington’s locally owned shops, restaurants, and makers are the backbone of the City’s economy, and choosing to spend locally helps keep dollars, jobs, and vibrancy right here at home.
