This Weekend in #LoveTheCov 8/14/25

COVINGTON, Ky. – Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Every Thursday, we round up a handful of events happening across Covington, from live music and markets to food festivals, art shows, family fun, and more.

THURSDAY 8/14/25 

  • NightLight 513 Outdoor Movies Series presents: Shrek. Covington Plaza, 7 p.m. Get tickets here.
  • Music Bingo on The Rooftop at Braxton Brewing Company at 7 p.m.
  • Music@BCM Summer Concerts presents Ben Levin, Ricky Nye, and Noah Wotherspoon, 7-9 p.m. 
  • Disco Bingo at 7:30 and Karaoke at 9 p.m., with featured drinks for $6 at Galaxie.
  • $2 Oyster Night at Ripple Wine Bar until they sell out.

FRIDAY 8/15/25 

  • It’s electrifying! GREASE runs at The Carnegie from August 15–24. Get tickets here.
  • Party on the Patio at Braxton Brewing Company, 5 p.m.
  • Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar welcomes Northern Liberties to NKY. Grab a glass of Northern Liberties, a 6-year-old Bottled-in-Bond bourbon made in Over the Rhine by Northern Row, at OKBB, 5 p.m. 
  • Mid Life Reverie takes the stage for the Music in the Gardens Outdoor Concert Series at the Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center, 6-8 p.m. 
  • Estrada Do Sol hits the stage at Juniper’s, 8 p.m. 

SATURDAY 8/16/25 

  • The Covington Farmers Market, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Washington St.
  • Sunset Rooftop DJ Sessions with Galaxie at Braxton Brewing Company, 7 p.m.
  • Brown-Brunson Quartet hits the stage at Juniper’s, 8 p.m. 

SUNDAY 8/17/25 

  • Baker Hunt Student Art Show, 12-2:30 p.m. 
  • Covington Water Day at the Kenton County Public Library Covington branch: The library’s parking lot will be transformed into a water world with water games, a Covington Fire Department pumper truck, a mermaid,  giveaways, and summer-time treats! This is a FREE event, from 2–4 p.m. Parking will be available in the Midtown garage (the one with Clive the alien).
