COVINGTON, Ky. – Be advised that City Hall’s lobby will be closed to the public on Friday, Sept. 2, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. while City employees participate in an Active Shooter Training session in the Commission Chambers.

City employees were given the opportunity to sign up for the training which teaches individuals how to respond quickly in the event of an active shooter incident and the escalating chaos that ensues in such an intense situation.

During the training session, participants will walk through a variety of scenarios and participate in role-play simulations and receive training on methods of bleeding control.
