COVINGTON, Ky. – Rumpke Waste & Recycling is asking Covington residents whose trash and recycling is collected on Thursdays to put their carts out this evening.

With the winter storm hitting the region early Thursday, Rumpke said its crews will be out earlier than usual to service as many residents as possible before road conditions deteriorate.

The company said that if its drivers are unable to safely service their entire routes on Thursday, “additional material will be collected on your next scheduled service day.”

As for Friday, Rumpke officials said drivers will service as many customers as road conditions allow and might start later than usual.
