COVINGTON, Ky. – It’s called “flexible plastic packaging,” and while you cannot toss it in your City-issued recycling cart, you CAN recycle it.

For free.

Thanks to a partnership between Kroger Co. and TerraCycle, you can recycle Kroger brand packaging through TerraCycle’s free mail-in program. Check out the link HERE to learn more about the program works.

Specifically, look for the following Kroger brand names when buying things like chips, shredded cheese, frozen foods, deli meat and cheese: Simple Truth, Private Selection, HemisFares, Luvsome, Simple Truth Organic, Comforts!

Collect it, box it, and mail it.

Simple as that.
