Pike Street Stroll
 
Taking a long holiday weekend? Enjoy your time off with a stroll down the Pike Street Corridor between Scott Street and Holman. Experience local shops, galleries, restaurants and live music.

Rumpelstiltskin with Madcap Puppets
 
This Friday, July 6, at the Behringer-Crawford Museum Madcap Puppets will be putting on a musical adaptation of the classic story of a young girl who must spin straw into gold to save her father.

KSO Class Reunion Remix
 
The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra will be celebrating graduating classes on the '8s (1958,'68...2018) by playing popular hits that can be enjoyed by all ages.
 
This Saturday, the event will be held at the Devou Park Band Shell beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Flying Axes Grand Opening
 
Located in an old firehouse, Flying Axes will be Covington's first indoor axe throwing venue. Axe throwing has become a fast growing recreational sport, in which players compete by throwing axes at wooden targets.
 
The grand opening will be held this Saturday at Flying Axes on 6th Street, from 2p.m. to 8 p.m.

Forge First Friday Family Night: Drums Alive!
 
Drums Alive is a drumming workout class featuring fitness balls as drums. Get inspired by music and rhythm this Friday at the Hellmann Creative Center with a group fitness experience.

The State of Watercolor
 
The opening reception of The State of Watercolor will be held this Friday at the Pike Street Gallery, located at 124 W. Pike Street, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This show will feature seven top watercolorists from the Greater Cincinnati area: Yuki Hall, Heidi Hanssen, Bruce Neville, Nancy Neville, Crews McCulloch, Marlene Steele and Paula Wiggins.

Swimming Lessons
 
Join the Covington Recreation department and Swim Safe at the Randolph pool and teach your kids how to swim from the pros!
 
Lessons will be held July 9 - July 13 beginning at 11 a.m.

This weekly event features the best local produce, meats and eggs, soaps and lotions, teas, baked goods, sugar scrubs, nut milks and creamers, prepared soups and salads, fermented foods, and ... (need we go on?)
 
This Saturday, at the Covington Farmers Market, the Wooden Cask Brewing Company and Second Sight Spirits will demonstrate what makes their product part of Kentucky's unique agricultural heritage.
