Job Title: Project Engineer Department: Department of Public Improvements Salary: $73,499.00 - $97,688.00 (DOQ) SUMMARY Under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Public Works, provides technical assistance and engineering expertise for various public works functions. Manage and maintain records of construction and use of public rights of way. Supervise and participate in inspection of capital projects. Process change orders, payment requests, and conduct pre-bid, preconstruction and final inspection meetings. Review and process proposals for commercial, residential and subdivision developments for conformance with standards. Assist in preparation of operational and capital budgets.
