Bradford Building Groundbreaking

COVINGTON, Ky. - Reconstruction of an iconic Covington structure, the Bradford Building, is underway.
 
The Catalytic Development Funding Corp. of Northern Kentucky and Orleans Development Company broke ground at the Bradford Building project site November 29.
 
At the Groundbreaking ceremony, the Bradford Building Project was introduced by Jeanne Schroer representing the Catalytic Fund, and included remarks from Tony Kreutzjans with Orleans Development, Joy Amann with Huff Realty, Lytle Thomas with Heritage Bank, and Covington Mayor Joseph Meyer.

The Bradford Building, located at the corner of Fourth Street and Scott Boulevard, is a three-story historic building will be that will be transformedinto five condominium units and five street-level commercial spaces.
 
The five units ranging in size from 1,800-2,500 square feet will have price-points ranging from $300,000 to $499,000. The condos will offer a secure lobby and elevator access, roof terraces, and smart home technologies.
 
The City of Covington has granted an economic development incentive that will help in the transformation of the Bradford Building to the Catalytic Development Funding Corp. of Northern Kentucky and the Orleans Development Company.
 
The economic development incentives featured within the agreement include funding for a shell façade improvement grant and a commitment from the City to construct infrastructure improvements to further enhance the block.
