Friday, May 6: Curb’d Parklet Reveal

Time/Location: 4-6 p.m. at Left Bank Coffeehouse (East Seventh and Greenup Streets)

About the Event: Celebrate walkability and public art with Covington’s Curb’d parklet unveiling! Walk the urban core between the 5 parklets to reveal their new (temporary) homes to see how one parking space has been transformed into a urban attraction. After enjoying the parklets, head over to Mac’s Pizza in Mainstrasse for an afterparty!

Saturday, May 7: Covington Farmers Market Opens

Time/Location: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., East Third Street between Court and Greenup Streets

About the Event: The Market is back! Every Saturday rain or shine, the market hosts farmers, purveyors and artisans. The first market is a special Mother’s Day celebration including FREE Mommy & Me Yoga from Yogi and the Farmer (10 a.m.), mini massages from Wilson Therapeutics, bakery gift sets from Buttercup Cake House and more!

Saturday, May 7: First Annual Running of the Goats

Time/Location: 1-5 p.m., East Third Street between Court and Greenup Streets

About the Event: The famous Goebel Goats will be trotting through the streets of Covington from the Farmers Market to their summer home in Goebel Park, where we’ll celebrate the summer season together with live music. This promises to be a one of a kind event!

Saturday, May 7: The Phoenix Farewell

Time/Location: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Madlot (West Seventh and Washington Streets)

About the Event: Join us at Madlot as we say goodbye to the Artworks “The Divine Proportion of All Things” mural, featuring the image of a majestic phoenix. Images by Sadie portrait photographer will be onsite for family portraits with the mural.
