Recreation Update June 2015


City Pools

Summertime is here! Goebel, Randolph, and the Covington Waterpark will be open to the public on June 6th. The pools will be open 7 days a week from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  We are looking forward to keeping you cool for another season.  Pool Passes will be available all summer at City Hall starting May 26th.  We will be issuing pool passes from 8:30 to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Passes will also be available at the pools until June 14th ONLY!

 

Free, Weekly Zumba Classes and Arts & Crafts

Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. at Randolph Park

3:00 p.m. at Covington Waterpark

Fridays            2:00 p.m. at Goebel

 

Arts & Crafts

Monday & Wednesday 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Covington Water Park

Volunteers Needed for Licking River Greenway

Volunteers are needed on June 20th from 9:00 a.m. to noon to help remove invasive species, replant native plants, and pick up litter and debris along the Greenway Trails. Join the City of Covington Recreation dept. and The Kenton Conservancy and lend a hand in making our community a greener place to live!

Meet where East 16th dead ends at the Licking River. Supplies and lunch will be provided. Sign up but contacting the Recreation Dept. at 859-292-2151 or recreation@covingtonky.gov
