Fore! 41011 - Urban Mini-Golf Comes to Covington to Commemorate PARK(ing) Day

COVINGTON - 'Fore! 41011', an exciting and completely free mini-golf experience takes place at various locations throughout the Roebling Point neighborhood on September 20, from 3-8 pm. The golf course layout includes parks/holes in front of Blinkers, Molly Malone's, Roebling Point Boocoks & Coffee, Down Under, and Keystone.

Built upon the worldwide success of PARK(ing) Day, an annual art event during which artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into one-day public parks, Renaissance Covington and Roebling Point Business Association have joined together to "bring the green(s)" into the neighborhood. Participants will receive a scorecard that, once completed, entitles them to a 15% savings at all participating businesses.

The event aims to join in a worldwide initiative that spotlights artistic enterprise in an urban setting. The goal is to welcome visitors and residents to partake in a community-wide enjoyable endeavor for all ages.

The event is free and open to the public.

Fore! in 41011 is an urban artistic initiative of Renaissance Covington that brings citizens and local businesses together.

Renaissance Covington, a non-profit organization focused on urban revitalization and funded in-part by the City of Covington, is producing the event with the Roebling Point Business Association. Individual sponsors include Blinkers, Molly Malone's, Roebling Point Books & Coffee, Down Under, and Keystone, Hub + Weber, with golf clubs and balls provided by Twin Oaks and Summit Country Clubs.
