COV200 Summer Celebration Schedule of Events

Last month COV200, the volunteer group behind the city of Covington’s bicentennial celebration, unveiled plans for a six-day event showcasing Covington’s 200 years of pride and progress. Now officially titled the BB&T Summer Celebration, the celebration will feature six days of family friendly activities and musical entertainment hosted on the Covington landing and in the RiverCenter Blvd. block area between Scott Blvd. and Madison Ave.

Below is a detailed daily schedule of events:

Thursday, July 9

Circus Mojo performances 6 8 p.m.

Covington Landing

  • 50-foot Ferris wheel, giant fun slide, food and drink vendors (6 – 10 p.m.)

Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell Stage

  • 6 – 10 p.m. Dan Varner Band (country rock)

Braxton Brewing Acoustic Plaza

  • 5 – 7 p.m. Opening Night Happy Hour, Sponsored by TQL. Features live music with Tracy Walker, Circus Mojo performances, and special prices on Braxton Brewing beers.
