The City of Covington has adopted the Model Procurement Code (Covington Code of Ordinances, Chapter 35, 35.60 thru 35.81), as outlined in Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) Chapter 45A.

The City’s Procurement Policies & Procedures Manual (Procurement Manual) and routine procedures and practices ensure compliance with applicable Federal, Kentucky Commonwealth, and local laws.

Parties may register their interest, receive notifications of future procurement opportunities, and view previous procurement actions, free of charge, by visiting the City’s Procurement Portal here.

In addition to publicly soliciting competitive offers directly, the City also utilizes GovDeals, a third-party online auction website, to facilitate the sale of surplus City property.  Each auction is subject to its own rules and regulations, as well as Kentucky Commonwealth and local ordinances.
