The purpose of the Neighborhood Investment Partners Board shall be to promote and accomplish community development and the expansion of affordable rental housing, homeownership, and mixed-used development; by identifying and promoting and employing selective rehabilitation, renovation and new construction. The purpose of the corporation shall also include the fostering of educational and vocational developments and the pursuit of all other lawful purposes without limitation as permitted by KRS 273.167.
