RFP - Purchase of Ambulances, FY20

Description

The City is seeking Proposals from qualified Vendors who manufacture Ambulances in accordance with the specifications outlined in the attached RFP.  The City's Fire Department is seeking to purchase (2) Ambulances that provide the highest level of quality and engineering excellence, so as to meet each patient's need for pre-hospital care and to provide a safe working environment for the Emergency Medical Personnel. 

Submissions must be received and timestamped by the 1st Floor, Finance Department Window, 20 W. Pike Street, Covington KY 41011 no later than 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, Thursday, August 22nd, 2019.   Proposal Binders should be submitted in sealed package with following statement:  “PURCHASE OF AMBULANCES, FY20 RFP - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL”

Pursuant to KRS 45A.370, the evaluation of Proposals shall be conducted using competitive negotiation. Any final award shall be based upon the evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP, and shall include the reciprocal preference for residential Respondents outlined in KRS 45A.494, where required.
