RFP - Engineering Design Work for the Pointe Benton Drainage Basin Project


The City is requesting proposals from professional engineering design firms for the Pointe Benton Drainage Basin Project. The overall goal of this project is to resolve the flooding issues in the Pointe Benton neighborhoods by installing a storm water collection/ conveyance system and constructing storm water detention basins, new storm pipes, grading work, and basin construction.  The selected design firm (“Consultant Team”) will be required to provide design services, including, but not limited to the preparation of engineering studies, design studies, surveying, identification of appropriate typical sections, identifying any utility impacts, performing drainage design, final right-of-way plans, preparation of easement documents as required, construction plans, traffic control, developing dependable cost estimates, conducting and preparing documents for bidding and public meetings.

Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside "SEALED PROPOSAL FOR POINTE BENTON DRAINAGE BASIN – DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL."
