Board of Commissioners Proclaim May "Historic Preservation Month" in the City of Covington


On Tuesday evening, the Board of Commissioners authorized a resolution proclaiming the month of May as "Historic Preservation Month" in the City of Covington.

Historic Preservation Month honors and celebrates the preservation of Kentucky's historic buildings and the important role the buildings serve throughout the community. A proven economic development tool, preservation has been established as public policy under the National Historic Preservation Act.
