Public Safety Radio System - Subscriber Units

 
The City is soliciting Bids from qualified Vendors who provide public safety radio system, subscriber units for purchase.

The following regional counties: Boone, Campbell and Kenton will be upgrading their existing radio communications system beginning November 2018. The City of Covington's existing subscriber units will soon become non-compliant with the updated, county-wide communications system and will require an upgrade. The City of Covington, located in Kenton County, will utilize these radio subscribers for public safety purposes, in the following departments:  (1) one police agency, (1) Fire/ EMS agency and (1) department of Public Works.   The City reserves the right to purchase radios from multiple vendors.  The City is open to bids that include pricing for purchases of a bulk number of radios from one vendor.  The City shall require ongoing coordination with the awarded vendor and the City's designated representative.

IFB- Randolph Park, Pool Building - Roof Replacement and Repair

The City is soliciting Bids from qualified Vendors to remove and replace the roof at the Randolph Pool Building, located at 802 Greenup Street, Covington KY 41011.

The City shall require ongoing coordination with the awarded vendor and the City's designated representative, prior to performance of any work on City property. Respondent shall notify the City's designated representative, (72) seventy-two hours in advance, before anticipated work on City property.

Said bid shall be enclosed in an envelope and clearly marked with the project name stated above and must be delivered to and time stamped by the FIRST FLOOR WINDOW IN FINANCE DEPARTMENT, 20 W. PIKE STREET, COVINGTON, KY 41011 no later then 9:00 a.m. prevailing time, October 1st, 2018 and will be opened and read in public by the City Clerk, or her alternate at that time and date, 1st floor Commission Chambers, Covington, KY 41011.

Sealed bids shall be enclosed in a separate envelope and plainly marked on the outside with the notation "Randolph Pool Building Roof Replacement Bid Enclosed" - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL".
