Neighborhood involvement and community engagement is a vital element to our quality of life. The Covington Police Department assigns specific Officers to each one of Covington’s nineteen neighborhoods. These officers actively establish relationships with residents and stakeholders within their assigned neighborhood and frequently attend neighborhood association meetings to stay in touch with the community’s needs.
To address issues specific to your neighborhood, email the Police Department at email@example.com.
The purpose of 911 is to provide residents and visitors quick access to emergency services during a time of need. Our 911 service is provided by the Kenton County Emergency Communications Center (KCECC), which is located in Independence, Kentucky. This Dispatch Center is a County provided service.
Dial 911 when you are in or think you or someone else is involved in a life threatening situation or is in a situation causing immediate risk to a person’s long-term health. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, fire or other life threatening situation, contact 911.
All people wanting to report a non-emergency should dial 859-356-3191. To find out where to direct a non-emergency complaint, please visit our 311 Information page.
The Covington Police Department partners with RAIDS Online to compile crime data and other information and display it in a free, online public portal. Crime mapping helps the public get a better idea of the crime activity in their area so they can make more informed decisions about how to stay safe.
