COVINGTON, Ky. - Trick or treat hours have been officially set in the City of Covington: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 31 (it’s a Wednesday this year).
(Yes, we know that Halloween is still about three weeks’ away, but we’re already receiving inquiries at City Hall, so we decided to reassure the City’s youth that trick or treating IS being officially sanctioned again this year, and to give parents and residents a heads-up and reminder.)
The City Commission set the hours with a late addition to the agenda this past Tuesday night.
So ... start putting those costumes together, buy that candy, clear your sidewalk and/or steps of obstacles, tune up the scary music - whatever it is you do to prepare (and yes, we’re fully aware that some of you will turn out the lights at 5:59 p.m. and pretend you’re not home).
