It’s Halloween time at Art in the Park

COVINGTON, KY - Pumpkins, bats and scary cats! Oh my! Covington Parks and Recreation and Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center have teamed up to bring you Art in the Park.

Follow along step by step in a live demonstration and create Halloween-inspired cartoon characters. Take it a step further and create a model sheet of different expressions, naming rights and your character’s (or characters’) backstory.

“Art in the Park is a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy the outdoors and flex their creative muscles at the same time,” said Covington Recreation Program Coordinator Erin Smiley. “It’s a great time to start thinking Halloween characters and costumes for the kiddos.”

Family members of all ages will have fun at Art in the Park. Both events are free and open to the public. Participants can stop by any time between noon and 3 p.m. at the below dates.
