COVINGTON, Ky. -On this Friday the 13th weekend you will find plenty of family friendly activities to do in Covington.

Grand Day @BCM: Hocus Pocus, Black Cats & All That
This Friday, July 13th, grandparents can come spend the day with their grandchildren exploring magic, superstitions and more at the Behringer-Crawford Museum.

Shakespeare in the Park
Bring a chair or a blanket and watch the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company preform “Romeo and Juliet.” This family friendly event will be held at the Linden Grove Cemetery on Friday, July 13th, at 7 p.m.

Family-Friendly Friday: SKOOL Aid
Pack up the kids for an evening of educational programing combining music and physical activity presented by SKOOL Aid.This event will be held this Friday, July 13th, at the Behringer-Crawford Museum from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

First Responders' Night with the Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Girls
Join the Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Girls in celebrating first responders on Saturday, July 14th. Tickets are $10 regular admission or $5 for any Fire/Police/EMT/911/Active/Retired Military.

20th Street Pop-up Block
The City of Covington is working with the Center for Great Neighborhoods to update the local zoning code,bringing new energy to the E. 20th Street corridor.
 
This Sunday, July 15th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. there will be pop-up block set up at 20th and Greenup. The pop-up block is a temporary way to show the community what changes on a particular block might look and feel like. You will be able to see examples of an outdoor café with seating, new signs, street trees, new business, and more!

Covington Farmers Market
This weekly event features the best of local produce, meats and eggs, soaps and lotions, teas, baked goods, sugar scrubs, nut milks and creamers, prepared soups and salads, fermented foods, and ... (need we go on?)
 
This Saturday the Covington Farmers Market, will feature free yoga with Brenda Zachmeister of Baoku's Village at 9 a.m. and pet adoption with Greyhound Adoption of Greater Cincinnati. There will also be live music by Andyman Hopkins at 11 a.m.

Homebuyer Education Class
Get your questions answered by the professionals. This class will teach you about the ins and outs of the home buying process. This Saturday, the event will be held at the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
