Saturday, February 28: 

Covington Latin School has received a special event permit for its annual  Quo Vadis 5k race. the race is scheduled to begin both its 5k and 10k legs beginning at 9:00 AM. Organizers are accepting same-day registration beginning at 7:30am on site at Covington Latin School, located just beside the Cathedral Basilica on 12th and Madison Avenue.

The following roads will be effected on the day of the race:

• Madison Ave. from 12th St. to Rivercenter Blvd.; 
• Rivercenter/E 2nd from Johnson to Kennedy; 
• Kennedy from E 2nd to Riverside; 
• Riverside from Kennedy to Greenup; 
• Greenup from Riverside to E 2nd; 
• Johnson from Rivercenter to W 6th; 
• W 6th from Johnson to Russell; 
• Russell from W 6th to W 12th; 
• W 12th from Russell to Madison
   

During the race these roads will be temporary closed  to through traffic and managed by hired off-duty police officers at each of the intersections.
