COV200 in Search of Covington's Oldest Living Resident

 

COVINGTON, KY - COV200, the City's Bicentennial Committee, is searching for Covington's Oldest Living Resident. The oldest Covington resident will be honored and recognized in upcoming Bicentennial celebrations and be given two free tickets to the Bicentennial Gala scheduled for February 7, 2015.

 

COV200 Committee Co-Chair Amanda Greenwell said, "COV200 is a celebration of the past, present and future of our City. It's important that we honor our past and recognize the living heritage that exists in Covington. We're looking forward to being introduced to Covington's Oldest Living Resident and hearing their stories!"

 

Deadline for submissions are January 26, 5:00pm. The winner will be notified by Friday, January 30, 2015. For submissions, please send an email to nbowers@covingtonky.gov, with the full name of the person, their residential address, phone number, birth date and location of their birth. If you are submitting on behalf of someone else, please be sure to have their consent.
