Code Enforcement Hardship Program Guidelines
The Code Enforcement Hardship Repair Program assists eligible low-income, owner-occupants of single family homes to address exterior violations of the Kentucky Building Code, Property Maintenance Code, and/or any other applicable City Codes. Funds are available in the form of a forgivable loan.
Property owners cannot apply to the program directly. You must first be issued a code citation and go before the Code Enforcement Hearing Board, who will then issue a letter of recommendation if a plea of Hardship is made.
