Opportunities to Serve Your Community!

The City of Covington has a number of Boards and Commissions on which Covington residents may serve. The City is currrently accepting letters of interest from citizens who are interested in serving on one of these Boards or Commissions. A resume is required in addition to the letter of interest so that a person's qualifications may be evaluated as some Boards and Commissions require specialized training or knowledge.

The members of these Boards and Commissions are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Commission. Each Board or Commission has its own set of regulations, operating procedures, and meeting schedules, and most have been estabished by an Order/Resolution approved by the Mayor and Commission. In addition, some of the Board or Commission positions include a stipend, while others include no compensation.
